Writing with Voices
Ongoing project about tape-recorder compositions of the 1950s and 1960s from a studio work perspective, that is from the crafting and experimentation with recording tools. It is inspired by practice based musicology, by questions of re-enactment, redoing, reconsidering and puts the learning and getting to know versus appropriation. I am also interested in theoretical approaches to the questions arising from composing with recordings.
Writing with Voices is part of the Bern Academy of the Arts project.

CRÉATION PLURIDISCIPLINAIRE & PARTICIPATIVE

La Compagnie sturmfrei imagine un territoire scénique et sonore où se croisent, se confrontent et se transforment les formes artistiques. Un espace vivant où gestes, esthétiques et perspectives s'hybrident pour ouvrir de nouveaux imaginaires. Pendant 11 jours, artistes, performers, écrivain·e·x·s, philosophes, photographes, étudiant·e·x·s, participant·e·x·s, partageront un même espace-temps d’expérimentation.
Ensemble, comme des artisan·e·x·s de demain, iels exploreront, questionneront et inventeront des possibles, faisant du présent un acte créatif de transformation.
echo: un mythe, une figure, un phénomène acoustique qui déplie nos mémoires, ouvre les interstices entre ce qui fut, ce qui est, et ce qui pourrait advenir. echo se fait entendre lorsque le monde attend qu'on l'écoute.
